I present to you today a selection of gorgeous photos of my colleagues and I posing as some of our animals in a photoshoot I’ve been working on for a few weeks.

George did a fantastic job as Molly, she also took very little persuading to take part, 10/10.

Orangutans are semi-solitary and adult males once old enough to have cheek pads spend 90% of their time alone.

American Miniature Horse William here! The smallest known Miniature Horse was called Thumbelina who measured just 17.5 inches tall!

Dom did a stunning job of Barry the Pink Backed Pelican.

Ryan was thrilled when I told him he had the Frogmouth and has done a top job.

Did you know?

Tawny Frogmouths are terrible nest builders! Usually dumping a few twigs precariously on a branch!

I just found Matt like this….

Only joking! Here’s the lovely Nando chilling in bed. Brazilian Tapirs are a relative of the Rhino, and are capable swimmers and divers!

I am quite disturbed at how much I look like that toad.

Did you know?

Cane toads are poisonous, producing the milky substance from glands behind their shoulders when stressed.

Tony tried to run away when I asked him to do Lucas!

Did you know?

Chimps are incredibly strong (about 4 times the strength of a human) and can reach speeds of 20mph!

Did you know?

Sloths only go to the toilet roughly once a week, and when they go they can lose up to a third of their bodyweight in one go!

The Visayan Warty Pigs are one of my favourites at the park!

Did you know?

Visayan Warty Pigs are critically endangered and have become extinct in 3 of the 6 islands where they lived.

The Polacanthus was a herbivore but has been known to eat zookeepers… They existed 99.6 million years ago!

Tamanduas have a semi prehensile tail and are very good climbers. Terri is often found high up in the enclosure in a hammock with keeper Jess!

Dom just loves being on camera!

Brooke was a little peckish during giraffe training!

Did you know?

Our Rothschild Giraffes have horn like structures on their heads called ossicones and Rothschild Giraffes are the only species which have 5 ossicones!

Caught Jodie on her lunch break looking tort-tastic!

Let us know who you think did the best of this fun little photoshoot job in the comments!
