The price for this experience is £90 per person, £160 for two or £240 for three and includes your entry to the park as well as 15-20 minutes with the giraffes.
Have you ever wanted to feed a giraffe for yourself? Well, now you can! Our Giraffe Encounter allows you to get closer than you ever imagined to these beautiful animals.
This encounter offers you the chance to meet the world’s tallest land mammals all safely under the watchful eye of one of their keepers. Whether you choose to purchase our Giraffe Experience for a loved one, or to keep it all for yourself, it’s sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.
The experience starts at the Giraffe enclosure where the keeper will talk to you a little about Robin, George, Henry and Ruedi, at which point they may wish to come up to the balcony to show you just how incredible they are. You will also have plenty of treats to help keep the attention of your new friends held on you.
During this encounter, while you’re enjoying some special one on one time with your favourite animals, our keepers will share lots of fun information and stories about them. Not only will you get to feed these amazing creatures, but you’ll also learn tons about them too!
This encounter is suitable for all ages. Parents can accompany young experience-goers (aged 5 years or under) into the feeding area but cannot take part in the experience directly without purchasing an experience for themselves too. Parents of older children will still only be a few meters away on the other side of the gate.
You can meet our Rothchild’s Giraffes either inside or outside depending on the weather so no need to worry about that.
Your Giraffe Experience will last 15 to 20 minutes and allows you to enjoy your time with these graceful characters. Once you’ve finished greeting the giraffes, you will have access to the rest of the park– allowing you to explore even further!
This really is the best way to get up close and personal with such a unique animal; it’s a truly amazing experience.
