The price of this experience is £80 for one person or £140 for 2 and gives you entry to the park along with 15 minutes of interaction with the Capybaras.
Our unforgettable Capybara Experience allows you to get up close and personal with our adorable group of Capybaras – some of the most popular creatures here at Wingham Wildlife Park.
Our animal experiences give people the chance to spend time with some of the park’s most amazing animals – in this case, our Capybaras. As part of the Capybara Experience you will have access inside the animal enclosure for 15 minutes, where you will experience the magic of interacting with them!
When you’re inside the enclosure, your time will be filled with opportunities to stroke and interact with our curious Capybaras. Not only is this a great way to see them up close, but you’ll enjoy an experience that you’re sure to never forget.
During our Capybara Experience, while you’re enjoying some special one on one time with your new furry friends, our keepers will share lots of fun information and stories about our Capybaras meaning that you’ll also learn tons about them too!
As part of your experience ticket you will receive day entry to Wingham Wildlife Park, a park that an incredible array of animals call home. Once you’ve finished mingling with the capybaras, you will be able to go exploring and see all the other animals that we look after – including Parrots, Penguins, Monkeys, Tigers, Bears and more.
You can book our Capybara Experience on any day of the week, with the choice of two time slots: either 12:30 or 14:30.

- This is an outside experience
- Unfortunately, due to the uneven terrain of the capybara enclosure it is not accessible to wheelchairs
- Must be wearing closed toed shoes and full-length trousers during the experience
