Every Day’s a Special Deal at Wingham Wildlife Park

We want your help to celebrate global tiger day this year. To do this, and help us spread the word about what sort of danger wild tigers are in, we want you to send us some artwork! This artwork needs to be of Troy and / or Blade (our beautiful tigers at Wingham Wildlife Park) and can be in any of the following media (for this particular competition we’re not looking for photographs):
- Sketch / drawing
- Charcoal / pastel image
- Pasta art
- Papier mache
- Digital painting
- Plush / sewing
- Sugar work
- … the list goes on!
We want to keep the term of artwork as broad as we can, to try and encourage a wide range of artists and talents to join the fun. When you submit the work it can either be mailed to us as an original using the address in the contact section, be posted on Twitter using the hashtag #WWPtigerday or posted direct on our Facebook page. When submitting please include your name and which category you need to be placed in to for judging:
- Ages 7 years and under
- Ages 8 to 15 years (inclusive)
- Ages 16 years and above
In each category we will be giving away a first prize of a single season ticket for Wingham Wildlife Park (child for the first 2 categories and an adult for the last category), and a runners up prize in each category of a day entry ticket to Wingham Wildlife Park.
The artwork will be judged by a panel of judges working for Wingham Wildlife Park on global tiger day 2017 (Saturday, 29th July). As such we must receive all entries no later than midnight of Friday 28th July. The names of the competition winners will be announced on Facebook and contacted using the account which the image was posted from (this applies to Facebook and Twitter submissions), with that message coming from our admin account, Julian Wingham.
