Wingham Wildlife Park is located near Wingham, in Kent. Our park is big; it covers an area of 26 acres! We are just 15 minutes away from the city of Canterbury, with easy access by car and bus.

We are open seven days a week year round and only close on Christmas Day!

The park is located on the A257 between Canterbury and Sandwich. You can find us by car, bus, or train. For quick reference, please see the map at the bottom of this page.

You can find us using the What 3 Words: steaming.bandaged.wink which will take you to just inside our car park entrance.

By Car

Getting directions is easiest using this Google link. When clicked, it will open in a new tab.

Google Instructions for Travel by Car:

  1. Click on the ‘Get Directions’ button (under the Google logo).
  2. Enter your current location in the box next to ‘A’.
  3. Click the big blue ‘Get Directions’ button to finish.

By Car From Canterbury

We are on the left, less than half a mile after the village of Wingham. At the top of Pedding Hill stay on the A257 (please do not come down Rusham Road as your SatNav may ask), as our car park entrance is at the bottom of the Pedding Hill dip.

By Car From Sandwich/Ramsgate/Dover

Follow the A257 for 4.2 miles, we are on the right just before the village of Wingham.

Our postcode is CT3 1JL (Please note: when it asks you to turn off the A257 and on to Rusham Road, please stay on the A257 to find our car park – the SatNav will often try to take you to our front door).

By Bus

  2. Click on the ‘By Public Transport‘ Button (which has a picture of a bus on it).
  3. Enter your current location in the box next to ‘A’.
  4. Choose your departure time from the drop-down selection box, or leave blank to see current departures.
  5. Click the big blue ‘Get Directions’ button to finish submitting your selections.
