We are always keen to ensure that your students get the most out of their experience in the park, whether this is through the hands-on activities which they can have with the animals, the extensive signage around the park and now through the use of key-stage specific worksheets which guide them around key areas of our park.
Each pack has been put together by our education officer who is a member of the International Zoo Educators Association, and has been tailored to meet the needs of every Key Stage in the British education system. We have tried to cover all key points required in each Key Stage, encouraging your students to use and develop a number of different skills. However we have tried to keep it as low cost as possible and as such the only tools which your students should need are a pen and pencil, backed up with the skills and knowledge in their command.
These packs have been enhanced in some cases to have the biggest impact when printed in colour, and we would recommend that this is the format you use. However, there are no questions which specifically relate to colours displayed within the packs. As such, it is possible to print them out in black and white without distracting from the academic side of the pack.
You are free to contact us or call us on 01227 720836 at any time to speak to our education officer if you have any further queries or require any further information about these packs.
